This campaign marks a significant and dynamic expansion of our Upper Campus, adding ten acres of new space dedicated to student growth, athletic excellence, and community connection. More than just additional space, this bold step sets the stage for a series of transformative outdoor facility projects, each thoughtfully designed to enhance the full student experience—mind, body, and spirit. With a focus on long-term impact and student-centered design, we are creating environments that inspire, support, and celebrate achievement. Here’s what’s in store:
- Full size turfed regulation football, lacrosse, flag football and soccer field
- Competition ready 6 lane track including field events
- Practice Field Support Building: A foundational space that supports the growth and development of our athletes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Turf Upgrade: Elevating the playing fields to an exceptional level, offering our athletes the finest grounds for their endeavors. COMPLETED!
- With fresh new turf on the baseball/softball field in early 2025, and big, bold signage as you drive onto Upper Campus, we are excited to demonstrate “Progress You Can See – Momentum You Can Feel.”
- An Amenities Building is also planned to enhance our Softball/Baseball experience: A dedicated space that blends functionality with comfort, providing a hub for athletes and enhancing their overall experience.
- Locker Rooms: Ensuring our athletes have not only top-notch facilities but also spaces that foster team spirit and camaraderie.

What’s next will usher in a new era of campus life with the introduction of a state of the art building and the reimagination of indoor spaces.
This innovative addition represents a pivotal moment in our campus evolution. At the heart of this new space will be a cutting-edge training facility offering views of expansive auxiliary spaces housing state-of-the-art therapy zones and immersive VR simulation areas. These innovative features are carefully designed to enhance athletic performance, refine form, and perfect technique. This central health and wellness hub will be a dynamic space for various sports, including basketball, wrestling, soccer, competition cheer, baseball, softball, golf, football, and more, fostering a culture of excellence across disciplines.
The advent of the Sports Performance and Innovation Center will herald a transformation. The current Mustang Athletic Center will undergo a metamorphosis, emerging as the Mustang Welcome and Community Center. The Admissions Department will find its home here, embodying our commitment to showcasing the heart of our institution. Beyond that, this versatile space will open its doors to the wider community, becoming a nexus for gatherings, receptions, and a diverse array of arts and academic programming. With this transformation, we’re not just building facilities that will provide the perfect places to cheer on our Mustangs; we’re fostering connections and unity, embodying the spirit of Mount Vernon in every corner.
