Coach T – Varsity Basketball

Long before Mount Vernon’s Varsity Boys Basketball Team became GHSA State Champions there was a vision for the program. Coach Tarrik Mabon has led the Mustangs with a team-first culture sustained through empathy, respect, integrity, resilience, and excellence. As Mount Vernon’s Upper Campus Director of Spiritual Life, Coach T inspires his team, and the school to lean into Faith over Fear in sports and life.
